![]() Are these issues just with Cubase 5? Some Sonar folks seem to be happy.Īssuming there is some way to get Cubase 5 and UAD happy in a 64-bit system, is there any performance reason I'd be better of replacing my 2 UAD-1 cards with a new UAD-2 in a 64-bit system? I know I can get about the same (perhaps slightly better) plugin performance out of a single UAD-2 Solo card, but if there is no performance penalty for continuing to use the UAD-1 PCI cards I might consider keeping them for a while longer, as there are enough expenses on the horizon. UA says the card is compatible with Vista 64-bit (I'm inclined to use Vista 64), but I gather there are, nevertheless, issues. ![]() ![]() I've just scanned through some threads, and got scared a bit. I'm now considering building a new 64-bit DAW, so came to read about any UAD issues. I've been using UAD for years, but haven't been to this forum in a while.
